J.PoPs baby donuts

It was one of those Sunday afternoons back in 2019 and I was having a chit chat with one of my friends at UP Town Center. Starbucks was always full so we had to find another venue. It took us some time to decide, and finally we agreed to transfer at J.Co, a lifestyle cafe restaurant known for its Indonesian donuts, coffee, and frozen yogurt.

J.Co, UP Town Center, has a big, cozy space for large group meetings or small get-togethers. The place is not fully packed; and when you get to the counter, there is no long line of customers. It was simply a relaxing Sunday afternoon to eat some donuts, drink coffee, and catch up with our momshie talk.

It was my first time to buy J.PoPs, the bite-sized version of regular J.Co donuts. The box contains 24 cute donuts, compared to the regular box of 12. Now J.Pops costs P295 per box and if you wish to add a hot Jcoccino, you need to pay additional P130.

If you are running on a certain budget, just order Coffee of the Day with a Glazzy donut or pick Alcapone, a classic favorite. Compared to other donut brands, J.Co has a recognizable taste - light, soft, creamy and not too sweet. When you try the Alcapone, the crunchy almond slices and vanilla frosting will give your eyes a delightful sparkle. Slowly enjoy the soft texture of the donut, smell the aroma of Jcoccino, and have a sip of hot coffee, it will certainly ease the momshie talk about home worries and work stress.
