Our Little Goldilocks

Our little Goldilocks has turned 5 this month. A small but feisty girl that brings joy to everyone. When I visit my sister's house, she greets me with her sweet smile and big doll eyes, shows me her new drawings and paintings, and talks non-stop like an energetic DJ on the radio! 😊 She is simply unaware how she gives color to my dull, uninspiring days when I can’t seem to find the right words to say on my blogs.

She is as sweet as these birthday cakes and cupcakes. My sister and my niece decorated the round strawberry cake with fresh strawberries and placed some unicorns on top of the square vanilla cake and cute cupcakes.

What I love the most is the Strawberry Lush Cake, a three-layer vanilla chiffon cake filled with strawberry whipped cream cheese icing and strawberry filling. This premium creation from Goldilocks is topped with floral buttercream icing (P825).

To match the fried shanghai, our Tita ordered an affordalicious pansit from Marikina that costs P100 per order. Four orders of pansit was enough for our family, neighbors, and security guard. My niece and nephew bought a tub of Ice Scramble for P320. It comes with one round plastic tub of scramble (2.5 liters) plus 1 mini mallows, 1 sprinkles, 1 powdered milk and 1 premium chocolate syrup (3 oz in size). If you wish to add extra toppings such as powdered milk, chocolate syrup, mini mallows, chocolate droplets, and sprinkles, you need to pay P20 each. Just search for icescrambleph on Instagram. They have a "payment first policy" before they can deliver the products.

After blowing the candles on her birthday cake, our Little Goldilocks opened her gifts with so much excitement and joy!😊

It was a simple but fun-filled evening with my family. After the celebration, we watched Cruella, Disney’s crime comedy film based on the character Cruella de Vil of The 101 Dalmatians while our birthday celebrant and my niece went back to finish their artwork.
