Craving for something light and healthy? Visit SaladStop! at UP Town Center, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City.
SaladStop! offers salads, wraps, warm grains, beverages, smoothies, pastries, smoothie bowls, yogurts and mueslis. They have six Signature Salads: Oh Crab Lah!, Hail Caesar, Jai Ho!, Go Geisha, Man-go Wild, Big Bird,Tuna San, and Omega 3 Baby. As for the Wraps, they offer the same choices as the Signature Salads. There are also Classic Salads such as Cobb and Greek; and Warm Grains like Odon and El Chulo.
What's wonderful about SaladStop! is that you have the option to Create Your Own. Start creating your own base - salad or wrap. Choose your greens either Romaine lettuce or red and white cabbage. Choose your toppings either premium or basic. And lastly, choose your dressing either Western or Asian. SaladStop's dressings are gluten free and made-in-house in small batches every morning. Therefore, it's healthy and freshly made everyday.

I personally enjoyed the Man-go Wild! wrap. It has Romain lettuce, crab sticks, green mango, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onions, white turnip, yellow raisins, fried garlic, and mango vinaigrette. My former bestfriend & colleague ordered the Jai Ho! wrap that has Romain lettuce, tandoori chicken, potatoes, chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, capsicum, cucumber, and Indian spiced yogurt. The signature salad and the regular wrap costs P275 each only. Compared to other healthy veggie restaurants, SaladStop! offers reasonable prices.

My former bestfriend & colleague and I tried also the smoothies which costs P160 each. She ordered Green Glow that contains Romain, spirulina, mango, apple, greek yogurt, honey, chia seeds, and coconut water. I tried the Berry Grape-ful smoothie that has grapes, banana, blueberry, strawberry, honey, chia seeds, and coconut water.

Usually, the place is not crowded during weekdays and weekends. So if you want to try something new and fresh or perhaps lose weight for just one day (LOL!), go for a healthy SaladStop! at UP Town.
